Small 6" Cakes for Two with Recipes

I have been meaning to tell you about this site with wonderful recipes for small cakes for two people. I made a very plain one a while back and used my heart shaped cake pan and it was so good. I dusted with powdered sugar rather than making icing. Happy baking. Recipes here 🍰Happy April Fool's Day❤️

Where There's A Will, There's A Way

I hope you can find a friend to help you do the things you can't do by yourself this weekend. This photo made me smile and I hope it brightens your day as well. Have a great Saturday, Rosemary.

Be The Change

I love this pillow. Useful and inspirational at the same time.

Easy Chair Covers Made From Dish Towels

Don't you absolutely love this idea? I have two bistro chairs and I think I'll make covers for their backs out of some pretty dish towels that are too nice to use for drying dishes. So beautiful and so easy too. Wouldn't you like to be invited to this picnic?

Come In And See The Kitchens

I like all of these kitchens for one reason or another. Not too big...just right. Like the quirky cabinet arrangement in the first one, the pebble floor in the second, the open shelves and marble island in the third, and every single thing in the fourth one...you know I love a galley kitchen.

Bedroom Decorating Love

Antiquarian prints hanging unframed on the walls, recessed bookcases full of leather bindings, the bench with linen cushion at the foot of the bed, the bed hangings, the upholstered headboard, the lamps. I love it all. Absolute perfection.

Painted And Stenciled Stairs | For Counting

This couldn't have been easy. How does one do this and still live in a house? Paint every other step every other day? Live downstairs until project is finished? How? Click on the link for more photos and a detailed report of this big project. I like it, don't you? The Stairs are Done

Book Review | Book Thief

The Man Who Loved Books Too Much
by Allison Hoover Bartlett The true story of a thief, a detective, and a world of literary obsession. Now this sounds like my kind of book. Read the Rare Book Review and another short article about this Tome Raider.

Truly A Room Full Of Books

This room leaves me speechless. Book on the ceiling too. Awesome.

Brilliant Idea

If you can't hide it, flaunt it. Visible electric cords are my pet peeve. Sometimes there's nothing you can do except embrace them. Isn't this a cute idea? Made me smile.

HMCraig Art | Thanks For The Mention

HMCraig Art: Rules to Live By (borrowed edition)

Thanks so much for the mention. This is the only way I could think of to contact this talented artist and blogger to thank her for mentioning me on her blog. I wanted to leave a comment but they aren't enabled and there is no email contact information. You need to fix this. Let me know if you need help. Thanks, Rosemary
PS...You should follow her.

Wonderful Antique Windows

Now that's what I call a window. I don't think I've ever seen a better one.

These interior windows are wonderful too.

Abandoned windows. I could never walk away from these, could you?

Curved window alcove with ice crystals on the glass. Nice shutters and fabulous carved millwork. I'd love to have some frozen windows to photograph today. These would be perfect.

I've always liked windows that opened awning style. Love the vines too.
Enjoy the last weekend in February.
